House, now offices. C18. Painted brick; C20 slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 2-window range: 6/6
sashes under gauged brick segmental arches with keystones;
sill band; chamfered quoins to right; moulded and coved eaves
cornice. C20 shop front; angled corner in ashlar under coved
and cusped corbel.
Right returned side (to St Nicholas Street), has brick end
stack; stone plinth; 3-window range: C20 casements under
segmental arches; storeyband; moulded and coved eaves cornice.
Central C20 door and hood flanked by, to right, 6/6 sash, and,
to left, 9-light window with central casement; storeyband
over.
INTERIOR: late C18 dogleg staircase with turned balusters, and
moulded rail, to attic. Attic: two C19 plank doors. 2nd floor:
C19 wall cupboard. 1st floor: architraves to sashes and
casement; window seat; skirting board. Cellar: lined in
dressed stone.
