School house now house. Datestone 1766. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar
front and corrugated asbestos roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window
range of casements with glazing bars under wood lintel. Ashlar gable parpets and
brick stacks at ends. Central sundial. Tablet to left has inscription, "Edw.
Incley. Jno Lamber, Saml Birditt". Tablet to right has inscription "Wm.
Aldwinckle, Wm. Hikon, Bailiffs 1766". Interior not inspected but noted as
having remains of open fireplace.
