Public house. Early, C18, possibly partly earlier. Colourwashed clunch rubble and
weatherboarded timber framing; thatch roof with brick stacks. 3-unit
lobby-entrance plan. One storey plus attics. Irregular front, with
weatherboarded former stables projecting to left, has 2 entrances flanking a
large segmental-arched small-pane window with a smaller casement to right, both
with plank shutters; three 2-light dormers. Stacks to gables and to right of
centre. Interior: open fireplace; fragment of timber framing at rear.
