Farmhouse. C17 and early C18. Limestone rubble with some timber-framing;
concrete plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan with 2 rear wings.
2 storeys. Street front has projecting lateral stack with brick weatherings to
left of centre; to right 3 renewed casements at ground and first floors; one
ground-floor casement to left of stack. Entrance to rear. Left gable has
remains of parapet with projecting kneelers; right gable is timber-framed and
half-hipped. Straight joint indicates later date for right bay. Rubble, brick
and timber-framed C18 rear wings to right and centre. Between them, at first
floor, is a wooden frame with diamond mullions and intermediate bars, said to
be a recent insertion. Interior: Timber-framed cross partition, some C17
oak panelling and an C18 dog-leg stair.
