House. Early C17. Coursed limestone rubble; old plain-tile roof with brick
ridge-stacks. T-plan at right-angles to road. 2 storeys plus attics. 2-
window front of 3-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows except for 2-
light window to left of door. All have leaded lights. Central C20 door in
moulded 4-centre stone surround with recessed spandrels. 4-light stone-mullioned
windows in right gable wall and to right of rear wing. Dovecote in left gable.
Central stack at junction of roofs with 4 diagonal shafts in line. Interior:
4 Tudor-arched stone fireplaces in rectangular moulded surrounds. Reported to
have gable-trusses.
