Wall and gateway. Cl6. Limestone ashlar and rubble. Ashlar wall, approximately
2.5 metres high and 50 metres long, has a flat stone coping, stepping up to
left, and contains a small 4-centre arched gateway below a moulded triangular
pediment. Rear of wall is rubble with a rubble flat arch over the gateway.
Probably part of the gardens to the C16/C17 mansion of the Dashwood family,
destroyed in 1750.
