5/73 Bridge 400m N of Dashwaod Lock

Canal bridge. Circa 1790. Coursed squared limestone rubble with some ashlar
dressings. Wide segmental arch has ashlar voussoirs springing from projecting
wedge-shaped imposts, which are linked to the projecting keyblock by, a plain
ashlar hood. The solid parapet rises over the arch from square rubble piers.
North face has a cast-iron plate inscribed "208".
