Farmhouse and former byre with loft over. Farmhouse dated 1759 on door lintel;
mid-late C18 byre. Farmhouse tooled dressed sandstone, Welsh slate roof and
ashlar chimneys; byre squared rubble and concrete-tiled roof. 2-storey, 3-bay
farmhouse. Chamfered plinth and raised quoins. Central replaced door in
rusticated surround; lintel dated 1759 is partly hidden by unsympathetic C20
porch. 12-pane sashes in raised surrounds. Steeply-pitched roof with moulded
coped gables and shaped kneelers. Stepped end stacks with corniced tops.
2-storey, 2-bay byre on right has central doorway with alternating jambs and
replaced door; 2 rectangular openings immediately under eaves; roof hipped over
right return. Low 2-storey outshut on rear of house. Byre included for group
value.
