Late C19/early C20. Imposing Neo-Georgian. 3 storeys. 4 windows, side bays
break forward slightly. Ashlar. Carved vine frieze, modillion cornice and
parapet of balusters and urn capped dies. Shaped east gable verge. Moulded
cill strings. Glazing bar sash windows with eared architraves on 2nd floor,
rusticated quoins and flat arches with triangular and segmental pediments on
1st floor. Very wide fascia over ground floor. 4 arched plate glass windows
on ground floor with rusticated Ionic attached columns on a battered plinth.
Modern entrance to right.
Nos 2 and 4 form a grou together with the Midland Bank, Cattlemarket.
