II
House. C17 refronted early C18, reroofed and extended to rear c.1855. Ashlar
with Welsh slate roof. L-plan with later buildings in re-entrant angle and to
rear of rear range.
2 storeys, 5 bays. Chamfered plinth and raised alternating quoins. Centre
bay breaks forward slightly. Two-leaf door in stone surround with thin
pilasters and semi-circular pediment. Sash windows,with intermediate glazing
bars removed, in segmental-arched raised stone surrounds with imposts and
keystones. lst-floor band and eaves band. Steeply-pitched roof with
overlapping coping, kneelers and corniced end stacks.
On left return, 6 scattered double-chamfered windows, 4 formerly 2-light
mullioned windows, now with Yorkshire sashes.
