House, now public house. Probably C15, remodelled
in mid to late C19. Cement rendered brick facade to
earlier timber framed house of cruck construction; clay
tile roof; central brick stack. Hall house now floored.
2 storeys; 1:3:1 windows; central range has one off
set to right hand; right hand range has one off set on
ground floor; casements; partly glazed doors to left
and right; gable to left with raised coped verge and
tripartite sash window above covered carriage entrance;
obliquely placed extension to right with dormer and
gable end stack to right. Interior: exposed timber
framing including 3 pairs of crucks in central range.
