House now inn. C17 with later alterations, restored mid to late C19.
Timber framed on brick plinth; plain tile roof; brick integral end
stack and brick ridge stack. 3 framed bays; lobby entry. 2 storeys
and gable-lit attic; 3 windows, C20 casements; door to right of centre.
Framing: mainly small rectangular panels, 3 from plinth to wall plate,
interrupted by rails, small square panels between ground floor windows
and first floor windows, some decorative framing consisting of parallel
diagonal braces forming chevron patterns, framing of north bay largely
bogus following a lorry accident. North gable: Heavily restored;
jowelled corner posts. Interior: stopped and chamfered ceiling beams;
pieces of C17 carved oak panelling.
