Barn. Late C16 and C17 C18. Timber framed, one gable in brick, part with
original daub render, part weatherboarded, corrugated asbestos roof. 4 bays,
originally 3, with slightly later midstrey and c.1700 fourth bay. Close studding
with stud to stud tension bracing, part covered internally by horizontal boarding;
circa 1700 bay with primary bracing. Slightly cranked braces to 2 tie beama,
knees to the 3rd. Clasped purlin roof with no principal rafters additional inter-
mediate collars and wind bracing to original bays. Midstrey with wind braced roof.
Inserted opposed entrance.
