A timber-framed and plastered house of C16 origin, altered in later centuries
and refronted in the C18. There are modern additions at the rear. 2
storeys and attics. 3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
The south end has 2-light windows on the 1st storey and a 3-light window
on the ground storey. At the north end there is a 2-storeyed canted bay.
A central doorway has pilasters, frieze and a modillion cornice hood.
Roof tiled (old tiles), with 3 hipped dormers with double-hung sashes
with glazing bars. At the south end there is a fine external chimney
stack with 3 octagonal shafts with spur caps and battlemented ornamentation
to the upper part of the stack At the north end there is a later hexagonal
shafted stack (rebuilt).
