GV II
Stable. Early C19, for Longleat Estate. Coursed rubble stone with
brick dressings, pantiled roof. Faces east side of barns across
open yard. Two planked stable doors and shuttered opening to west
side. Left return has blocked opening. East side has two
segmental and one square-headed opening.
Interior has 3-bay roof with collar and tie-beam. For draught
horses, possibly for the horse engine opposite (q.v.).
