Cottage late C17 or early C18. Colourwashed malmstone and brick,
thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 2 ½ bays. Entrance in
centre bay, probably originally to narrow hall, now combined with
living room to right. Unheated left bay, now kitchen. Half glazed
door with lower fielded panels, and heavy chamfered frame, under
C20 rustic thatched porch. Paned timber windows. Roof hipped to
left with gable stack, of brick inserted into stone wall, probably
replacing stone stack. Pantiled single storey outbuilding to rear,
and lean-to timber garage on right.
Interior has two axial chamfered beams in living room.
