House. Early C18. Diaper brick with raised quoins and platband,
rendered c1820, to front elevation. Slate roof. Two storeys and
attic, 5 window bays with central stair hall plan and later lean-to
along rear. Six-panelled door within porch with swept felt roof.
Twelve-paned sashes, those to ground floor with C20 louvred
shutters. Boxed eaves. Roof hipped with two small gabled
dormers. Two brick stacks to rear wall. Blind windows to gable
end. A stone from garden with arms of Ernle impaling Hungerford
now mounted over door.
