A C16-C17 timber-framed building completely refronted in the late C19
or early C20. 2 storeys. The ground storey is faced in red brick and
the 1st storey is jettied on the north-west and south fronts and is faced
with tile hanging. 4 window range on the west front. The windows are
mainly double-hung sashes with glazing bars in the upper sashes. The
ground storey has 1 small oriel shop window with glazing bars and 1 canted
bay with casements. Roof tiled, hipped. At the rear there are 2 timber-framed
and plastered wings. The interior has moulded beams. Included for its
internal frame and for group value.
