A medieval timber-framed and plastered hall house built on a half H plan, with C16-C17 alterations and refronted in the C18 when the centre part was built out in line with the cross wings. At the south end there is a carriage entrance with exposed timber-framing under the arch and a room above. There are also arched braces and the remains of moulded shafts. The upper room of the north cross wing has the remains of wall paintings. There is a fine crown post roof. The front has four window range, C19 double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars. There are three C18 six-panel doors with pilasters and cornice hoods on brackets. Roof tiled (old tiles), hipped over the cross wings.
