GV II
Public House. C16 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and rough rendered. Red plain tiled roofs. Off centre left and right.
Red brick chimney stacks to right range. Two storeys and attics. Jettied gabled
crosswing to left with exposed timber frame to first floor and attic. Brackets
to jetty. 1:2 windows range of vari-light casements. Crosswing attic, 3-light
with mullions, first floor, 3 light with mullions and transom, right and left
3-light sidelights with mullions, some of these original or restored, C20 5-light
bay to ground floor. C20 square headed porch to right of crosswing. To left of
the crosswing is a C20 single storey extension with a 4-light casement. Said to
contain an original crossboarded, 9 panel iron studded door.
