Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17 with late C19 alterations. Timber framed,
encased on 3 sides in late C19 red brick; roughcast render at the rear. Roof
of glazed black pantiles. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell, lobby entry type. 3
windows, late C19 casements under segmental arches. Gabled brick porch with
wavy bargeboards; 4-panel door with shallow 2-centre arched head. Internal
stack: the lower part, with an inset oblong panel, is original. Internally
much of the structure is said to be concealed. Moated site adjacent.
