Farmhouse. Early C17 with later alterations; C18 wing to rear. Timber
framed, partly plastered, partly cased or rebuilt in red brick. Plaintiled
roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell form. Mid C20 casement windows. Mid C20
boarded and battened entrance door. Internal stack. Modernised interior:
much of the structure is exposed but in general somewhat altered. Ovolo-
moulded bridging beams in hall and parlour; chamfered joists in hall. The
gable end wall at the service end has heavy reversed bracing, the only bracing
visible in the house. The present stack appears to be a later insertion.
