Former farmhouse. Mid C17. Timber framed, encased in late C19 red brick.
Roof plaintiled to front and pantiled to rear. 2. storeys. 3-cell form. 2
windows, C18-C19 3-light casements; segmental arches to ground floor. C20
boarded door to cross-passage. Internal stack. Plain studding and floor
joists exposed internally. Original floorboarding. 2 later staircases at
each end suggest the building was once sub-divided into cottages.
