Golding's Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C18 front range with mid C19 wing to rear. Red brick, roof of
glazed black pantiles. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade with pilaster strips to
the quoins: 3 windows, later C19 2-light and 3-light mullion and transom
casements with geometric glazing bars in the form of elongated hexagons in the
local estate style; flat brick arches with raised keys. The doorway has a
raised brick surround with a corbel cornice, and is approached up a flight of
4 steps with simple wrought iron railings each side; 6-panel door with 2
glazed upper panels. Brick eaves corbel cornice. The returns and the rear
wing have windows in matching style.
