II
Farmhouse. Early C19 incorporating some C18 or earlier work. Later range to
rear, forming L-shape plan. Colourwashed brick, hipped pantiled roof.
Pilaster strips to the quoins, that to the left slightly inset. 2 storeys. 5
windows, inset sashes with glazing bars under flat brick arches. 2 of the
first floor windows are dummies. Central doorway with 6-panel door, slender
side lights and a rectangular fanlight with intersecting semi-circular glazing
bars. Roman Doric porch with fluted columns and an entablature with triglyphs
and guttae. Matching stacks in the roof hips. Brickwork of C18 or earlier is
visible in the left side wall.
