Farmhouse. C17 core, the rear range the older; early C19 facade, the attic
floor possibly added at the same time. Red brick, black pantiles to roof slope
facing front, red pantiles to remainder. 2 storeys and attic. Symmetrical
facade: 5 window range, 2:1:2, sashes with glazing bars, flat brick arches,
inset frames to ground floor, flush frames to first floor; inset doorway with
modern 6-panel door, the upper 4 panels glazed, segmental fanlight with glazing
bars, panelled reveals, reeded pilasters, flat hood with modilli ons ; wide
panelled overhanging eaves.
