II

House. Early C19, with mid C20 wing to rear. Yellow-white brick with lighter
brick to arches; slated roof. Fine symmetrical facade with 2 storey main block
and single storey side wings. 3 window range: inset sashes with glazing bars,
flat brick arches except centre window which has segmental arch; centre bay set
forward slightly, the doorway and window within a semi-circular headed recess;
doorway set within a further semi-circular headed recess: twin 3-panel raised
and fielded doors, semi-circular fanlight with decorative glazing bars in a
pattern of loops, reeded architrave with corner roundels; stucco band at first
floor level (except centre recess), continued onto side wings at parapet level;
wooden cornice, hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves. Side wings set back
slightly: each has a semi-circular headed blank recess with a brick band at
springing level and rectangular blank panel above; stone urn above parapet.
