Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Probably later C16, with C18 addition, altered.
Timber frame with brick nogging, brick addition, red tile roof, brick chimney.
Two-unit single-depth plan (perhaps formerly of smoke-bay type) with single-unit
addition to the right-hand end, and lean-to addition to rear. Two storeys, 2½+1
bays; the timber frame, of 4 wall-posts, mid-rail, and some studs and
intermediate rails, makes 2 unequal structural bays (the first wider), and a
narrow bay at the left end; the doorway is in the 2nd main bay, which has a 4-
pane window to the left and a 2-light casement above; the 1st bay has a 2-light
casement in the centre of each floor. The addition to the right has a similar 2-
light casement on each floor, that at ground floor segmental-headed. Gable
chimneys. The lean-to addition to the rear has 2 modern dormer windows.
Interior not inspected.
