Railway tunnel approx. 200 metres
east of Bookham Railway Station

Short tunnel conducting railway under Bookham Common. 1880s, for London and
South Western Railway Company. Brick with stone dressings. Slightly curved line
approx. 100 metres long. The portals have a horseshoe-elliptical arch, a plain
band, parapet, and pilastered ends. Included for group value with Bookham
Station (q.v.) from which it is possible to see through the tunnel.
