2. Late C16 to early C17 timber-framed building refaced in brick in C18 and extended
in late 019. 2 storeys; 4 bays, the easternmost 2 bays added in late C19. Ground
floor red brick, the westernmost part C18 and laid in English Bond on a base of sand-
stone rubble, Weatherboarded first floor. Half-hipped tiled roof with 2 clustered
brick stocks. 3 late Cl9 gabled dormers. The western part has exposed timber-framing
having upright posts with jowls and some curved braces.
