C18 front to older building. 3 storey. Painted rusticated stucco ground
floor with string at lst floor level, ornamented triglyphs and roundels, and
carried round base of 1st floor bay window. Brick effect. Bracketed and
moulded wood cornice. Parapet and stone coping. 2 windows (no glazing bars) +
on 2nd floor. Large central angular bay on 1st floor with enriched bracketed
cornice. Large early C19 shop window under 1st floor bay, 8 panes wide and
framed lath narrow pilasters, on ground floor, and 6-Panel door with moulded
arched frame, reeded door head, radiating and wreathed fanlight in doorcase
of panelled pilasters filth leaf enrichment, and curved brackets with similar
enrichment supporting broken entablature with fluted cornice and pediment,
the soffit of pediment has small square panels with roundel ornament. The
door on left hand side of front.
Nos 50 to 58 (even) & No 64 form a group with Nos 37 to 51 (odd).
