Two houses, 1732 and late C18, ashlar and rubble stone with stone
slate roofs. Two storeys, coped gables, end stacks and two ridge
stacks at original end walls. Original house is of small ashlar
blocks, 3-window range of 2-light cyma-moulded flush mullion
windows and has dripcourse interrupted for large segmental hood on
brackets over centre door. One-window range addition to west and
3-window addition to east (No 23) both similar with flush quoins,
dripcourse and 2-light chamfered flush mullion windows. West
addition has ground floor obscured by C20 addition. No 23 has
blank centre window over door with pediment on brackets. Central
door with pediment on brackets. Small-paned windows throughout,
sash opening lights to No 23. Said to have been the farmhouse of
the Home Farm.
