Early C18 much altered. Originally set back from street. Late C19 2 storey polygonal
bay to left. Older part brick, bay of stone. Cornice and parapet to double roman
tile roof, hipped over bay and ramped up to sides. Round headed windows to bay,
3 centred in front with wrought iron bracket above 1st floor window. 1 window
set back to right of bay: timber lintel, glazing bar sash. Projecting porch below
with engaged corinthian columns to sides and urns in relief over blocking course.
North front part brick and part rubble with 2 brick chimneys, 1 attic light to
gable, 1 cross window with moulded panels. 2 glazing bar sashes to left. 2 storey
brick and rubble windows extension also with double roman tiles; further taller
2 storey pantiled extension. To rear a 3 light mullion and transom window to 1st
floor.
Nos 37 to 44 (consec), No 38A and Nos 46 to 48 (consec) form a group with No 13
Church Walk. No 43 is of local interest.
