Outbuilding of early C19 date probably contemporary with the old farmhouse, marked on 1844 tithe map as owned by Davies Matthew Esquire and rented by Thomas Robert. Probably originally a single stable and cowhouse.
Outbuilding, single storey, rubble stone with slate roof stopped against stepped stone gables. Stable to left has small window and door, both openings with timber lintels and then cow-shed in rest of range has 4 doors with stone voussoirs.
Interior not inspected, but 1980 report notes roof trusses with low collars and notched lap joints, and also square-section through purlins.
Included as small early C19 outbuilding of group value with the farmhouse.
