History

Group of three chest tombs dating from the late C18 and early C19. The dates of death recorded are 1792 and 1807 with the third being apparently of c1800.

Exterior

Three sandstone chest tombs with scrolled corner balusters and slab tops with cyma recta mouldings. They are inscribed severally :-
Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Williams, died 1792.
Thomas Williams, died c1800.
Anne, the wife of George Brown, died 1807.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a particularly good and well preserved group of C18 chest tombs having strong group value with the Church of St Oudoceus, the other churchyard monuments and the churchyard wall.
