A Grade II Listed Building in Trellech United (Tryleg Unedig), Monmouthshire

Coffin Stone, Penallt, Monmouthshire

Uploader's Comments

Not a mounting block but a similar kind of stone was used to make this coffin stone at Penallt. It was used by the coffin bearers on their way to the Old Church so they could take a break, sing psalms, quench their thirst and eat pies. Situated on the road to the church at Cross Dermond in Penallt.
