This entrance gate was built in c1910 by Sir Edward Curre as a new main entrance to Itton Court (qv Devauden Community) to give an approach from the south more directly towards Chepstow. It entered on a long winding drive which is now disused.
Large square limestone ashlar gatepiers with heavy cornices. These are topped by large ball finials. Wrought iron double gates made up of spears swept up to the sides.
Included as a well-designed entrance gate in traditional style to an Edwardian country estate.
