A probably c1800 icehouse, which could be contemporary with the slightly earlier house.
The icehouse is constructed of red sandstone rubble, with a probably brick vault, under the usual mound of earth.
It is entered by an elliptically arched tunnel about 10m in length leading to a rectangular vaulted room with a flat paved floor.
Included as a late C18 or early C19 icehouse having group value with the adjacent The Grondra and its walled garden.
