History

Early C19, probably contemporary with the main part of the rectory building.

Exterior

The rectangular garden to the front of the rectory is enclosed by a low rubble wall topped by closely spaced railings with arrowhead finials. The principal entrance to the garden is in the E wall, directly in front of the entrance to the house. A crudely built entrance of local rubble, square stone piers and rough voussoir head to a square-headed opening; roughly embattled coping. The side entrance is close to the rectory in the S wall; dressed round arched gatepiers hung with double gates which echo the design of the railings.

Reasons for Listing
