The building was probably erected in the late C18 or early C19 as part of the farm arrangements for Ty Iocws.
Built of rubble stonework, and an irregulaar sized slate roof. Single storey, with a boarded door and paned timber window, and at the N end, a tall cylindrical stack.
The interior is of two bays, with central tie beam and applied collar truss. Stack and food preparation area is at the N end.
Included as a typical pig-swill kitchen, which forms part of the interesting group of service buildings at this gentry farm.
