Early C19, of rubble stone with tooled dressings and stone tile roof. The stable to R has a central doorway with boarded door flanked by arched openings, all with segmental heads. Above the doorway is a loft opening beneath the wall plate. To L is a 2-bay cart shed, the inner bay having a flattened segmental arch with tooled voussoirs and projecting keystone (outer bay has a shallow modern lean-to). Above the inner bay is a loft opening beneath the wall plate. Triangular breathers in gable ends.
Not inspected at time of survey (September 1997).
Farm building retaining its original character and part of an impressive group of buildings at Middle and Upper Gaer.
