This is a probably late C18 house of traditional design, but it might also date from the early C19. It has been refenestrated in Victorian times in traditional form, but is little changed externally.
Rendered and painted, probably over rubble stone, with a Welsh slate roof. Two storey L-shaped range with three windows on the main front and an additional one round the corner of the L. Symmetrical front with central entrance. Plank door with slated hood on brackets. The windows are C19 small paned casements, six six, one of the original smaller paned casements survives to the right of the door. Plain roof, hipped to left hand end with red brick stack to right ridge end and rendered one on rear wing. Subsidiary elevation has one similar window on each floor but not in line. To the left a double plank door.
The house is single depth plan with a kitchen outshut at a lower level. The features have all been hidden and disguised by modern decoration and changes, but the planning is unchanged. Principal rafter roof with staggered purlins.
A late C18 or early C19 cottage of traditional type which survives with very little alteration externally while the interior features probably survive behind modern decoration.
