Railway bridge possibly of c1867 over Afon Gwyrfai and road to Llanfaglan. The Caernarfon to Afonwen Railway opened in 1867, built by Thomas Savin partly on the earlier Nantlle narrow gauge railway, but this railway crossed the river on a different site according to 1842 Tithe Map.
Large triple-arched railway bridge in rock-faced squared stone with broad brick segmental arches. Arches have five courses of brickwork. Two big piers, low parapets.
Listed as a well-detailed example of a large mid-C19 railway bridge.
