Early C19 single-storey cottage, probably one of the ten 'poor cottages' marked on Llanwnda Tithe Map of 1839. The Tithe Map records four blocks of 'poor cottages' to the S of the river in Bontnewydd, a total of 30, all owned by Charles Evans.
Whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof. No visible stacks although it is attached at both ends to two-storey houses with end stacks. Double-fronted, single-storey, offset to left. Small 4-pane casement each side of C20 half-glazed door, slate sills and stone slab lintels.
Listed as a well-preserved example of a single-storey cottage of the region.
