History

Earlier C19 house and outbuilding, possibly former forge.

Exterior

Whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof and stone end stacks. Two-storey, three-window front with cambered-headed openings and stone voussoirs. Three 9-pane casements above, two 16-pane horned sashes below and centre ledged door. Rubble stone left end wall, lean-to rear.

Outbuilding attached to right has continuous wall, single-storey with roof hipped to right. Two cambered-headed doors with stone voussoirs. Right doorway blocked.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as A well-preserved earlier C19 house of regional type in late Georgian style.
