History

Early-mid C19. Latterly they housed workers for the adjacent chemical works.

Exterior

Two bilaterally symmetrical cottages of colourwashed stone with a slate roof and red tile crestings, each consisting each of 2 bays with lateral 4-panelled door with overlight set against the party wall. tripartite 12-pane sashes to the ground floor, 12-pane sash above and a further12-pane sash set centrally over the doors. Cornice to front elevation coved. Gable stacks.
