Canal bridge No.104 on Montgomeryshire Canal. Before 1797.
Splayed abutments terminating in rectangular piers, battered in section. Gritstone, with square chamfered copings, flat on top, forming carriageway 4.58m wide. Bridge faced in red sandstone. Arch spanning the narrowed canal [3.5m] and towpath [2m], turned in 1 red brick arch with towpath side chamfered [125mm]. Weep holes to abutment under arch. Canal revetted with red sandstone under bridge. Oval cast identity plate. Wall of parapet continues around corner following lane to Wern Mill.
