History

Built before 1880 for engineering purposes and used laterally as storage sheds.

Exterior

Two adjoining single storey brick buildings. The building is of brick and has an irregular plan. It has a large doorway with sliding doors in its gable end wall and bricked up openings in its other elevations. The pitched roof is of corrugated iron. Built against the rear of the larger building is a brick chimney, square in its lower part, and angling inwards to a circular, partially demolished upper part.

Included for its group value as part of the internationally important Blaenavon Ironworks.
