Built in 1821 when the Tanat Feeder to the Montgomeryshire Canal was realigned and widened with a view to making it navigable.
Cemented red brick, chamfered stone cappings, inner elliptical arch and outer segmental arch ring to both sides, outward curving abutments.
Included as part of an early C19 series of waterway structures at N end of Montgomeryshire Council.
