History

Opened in May 1822 when the Tanat Feeder was realigned to join the canal above the upper lock.

Exterior

Brick lined culverts with round brick arches over. Brick revetment to by-pass, rubble stone revetment to garden side of former Wharfinger's house.

Group value with the other canal structures in exceptional location at Carreghofa Locks.
